The Polish Institute of Arts and Sciences is pleased to announce opening plenary session speakers for its 9th World Congress in Warsaw at Collegium Civitas in the Palace of Culture and Science. The plenary session will be held on Friday morning on June 7 and will be welcomed by the mayor of Warsaw Rafał Trzaskowski. The plenary keynote address will be delivered by Deputy Foreign Minister Władysław Bartoszewski.
Dr. Janusz Onyszkiewicz, Solidarity spokesperson in the 1980s, former Minister of Defense in two Polish cabinets, and former Vice President of the European Parliament, will be the keynote speaker at its awards banquet at the recently opened Museum of Polish History at the Warsaw Citadel.
The Saturday evening banquet is one of several exciting events planned for PIASA’s 9th World Congress at the Palace of Culture in Warsaw from June 6-9, 2024.
Blocs of rooms near the Palace of Culture are available to conference participants at the Novotel Centrum, Marriott Centrum, and Hotel Gromada at discounted rates.
