MARIAN CHRISTOPHER ZACHAROW is a painter and notable illustrator whose work has been featured in various magazines, including Time, The New York Times, Business Week, U.S. News and World Report, Newsweek, The Atlantic Monthly and Psychology Today. He has created book cover art for publishers like Franklin Library, Viking Penguin and more. He has received many awards for his work including the Silver Medal from The Society of Illustrators of New York in 1986. He has been a lecturer in painting at The Cooper Union Continuing Education in New York since 1997 and in Illustration at the Parsons School of Design 2000-2003. Since 2007, he has a position of Visiting Assistant Professor, Adjunct at Pratt Institute in New York. He has had 10 solo exhibitions in New York since 1983 and participated in numerous group exhibitions in the U.S., Canada and Europe.
