The Witching Woods SHOW
curated by Joanna M. Wezyk

The Witching Woods explores the myths and legends surrounding the summer solstice. Drawing on traditions from St. John’s Eve (Noc Świętojańska), the exhibition presents ritual as a transformative and healing process. Through the worship of fire and water, and symbols like the mythical fern flower, the works reflect on purity both individually and collectively.
Loosely inspired by A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the exhibition blends folklore, fairy tales, and nature to depict the magic of the summer solstice. Ten artists present paintings, drawings, digital works, and sculptures that capture glimpses of the dreamlike, enchanting night.
