The Polish Institute of Arts and Sciences is pleased to announce a virtual event and presentation by Professor Grażyna Kozaczka from Cazenovia College. The title of her presentation is “Being a Woman in Polish American Fiction.” During this event, Professor Kozaczka will be formally presented with the Institute’s 2020 Waclaw Lednicki Award in the Humanities for her book, Writing the Polish American Woman in Postwar Ethnic Fiction (Ohio University Press, 2019), from which her presentation is drawn. Anna Frajlich-Zając, PIASA’s 2020 Distinguished Achievement Award recipient and chair of the Lednicki Committee, will introduce Professor Kozaczka.
